Type 1 Genital Herpes Symptom

Believe it or not, 30 % of genital herpes infection is caused by HSV type 1. Most cases are caused by oral to genital contact while other reason is through genital to genital contact. Unluckily most people do not aware of this virus presence. That is why many people do not know that they already being infected with type 1 genital herpes. Automatically, they may infect the other without knowing about it.

The first sign of type 1 genital herpes commonly appear during 2 up to 3 weeks of first time of exposure. Usually it will create itchy feeling, pain and tingle around genital or anal area. Some other sign are unusual redness on the infected area and swelling. Most women will get the symptom around vaginal area, anus, cervix, buttocks and external genital. Different form woman, men will get the symptom of their penis, scrotum, and thighs and inside anus or urethra.
When the tingle and pain feeling comes then small red bumps will soon appear. The bumps will be formed into ulcer blister that fill up with liquid. When blister get opened, it will be raw and very painful to touch. The blister may have ooze fluid, reddish or bloody liquid. Besides that, burning feeling when urination is also becomes one common problem. Pain, swelling, tenderness and redness in the infected area may also lead to vaginal discharge.
Flu like symptom is also becomes a common symptom. You may get fever, headache, muscle aches and swollen lymph nodes in your groin area. Some crop of sore may also appear during the flu like symptom period. Dry crust fall off and new skin forms beneath the scab. However, the outbreak may recurrent. Some patient may do not have recurrent outbreak while other have it for the rest of their live anytime the virus get activated. Many people may do not know that they have genital herpes type 1 since they do not get any symptom appear.
